Epidemiological Parameters of Dengue Infections in Pakistan

Objective: The aim of this research work was to find out epidemiological features associated age, nature prevalence, serology and severity the disease. Methodology: This study conducted in Benazir Bhutto Hospital; Rawalpindi duration from June 2021 November 2021. We collected total 149 specimens sera suspected patients appearing with symptoms dengue. analyzed gathered samples help serological detection IgM (Immunoglobulin-M), IgG (Immunoglobulin-G), RT-PCR (Reverse transcriptase-Polymerase chain reaction) culture virus CelllineC36/36. Results: Findings showed that one hundred forty-nine specimens, 32.20% (n: 48) were identified dengue use & cell 72.50% 108) found positive by serology. Of eight cases, 26.80% positive, 41.0% 61) both 4.70% 07) only. There very high prevalence age-group having 20-29 years age incidence infection much male as compared females. highest epidemic intensity month other months.
